Clean Language and Metaphor Tele-seminar

19:30 – 21:30 UK time

Thank you for your booking for our introductory tele-seminar. I am looking forward very much to ‘meeting’ you. This document gives you all the joining details and a diagram we will talk about on the call.

To join the call

We are going to use Zoom for the call.  Zoom is like Skype, but a bit more stable.

When you book to join the call, we’ll send you a link for accessing the call.  Even if you’ve not used Zoom before, it is usually very simple and quick to get connected to the call – just follow the prompts on the screen.  You will be asked for your name and email address but should not need to pay any money.

Usually this procedure works fine, but if for any reason you aren’t able to connect, please phone me on +44 (0) 7947 613 736 and we’ll try to resolve the issue.

If you are not in the UK, please check you have worked out the correct time for the call – it starts at 19:30 hrs UK time. Go here: to find the time in London, and then compare it to the time where you are to make sure you are available at the time our call starts.

Before the call

Please note our tele-seminars are interactive and we recommend that you use the opportunity to ask and be asked some Clean questions, but if you prefer you can listen in without participating actively. What we have found is that those who take part ‘get’ the power of Clean Language more fully than anyone who listens-in without taking an active part.  So, in preparation for the call, please consider your answer to the question:

“When you are listening at your best, that’s like what?”

For example, it might be like:

  • A bright spotlight illuminating the speaker, and nothing distracts you from them
  • A heart to heart connection
  • Their voice rings out loud and clear and other sounds are muffled.

Probably for you, it is quite different from these examples. Whatever it is like for you is fine.

Secondly, please consider the question:

“What would you like to have happen?” and come prepared with an answer. This can be for any context in your life (personal, work, family, etc.), but should be something about which you are happy to answer some questions, if you are asked. If your desired outcome is one of those we explore, you may get some significant personal development from it. This would be a bonus: the main purpose of this call is for you to learn about and experience the process of asking and being asked Clean questions.

During the call

Please have a pencil and paper, together with this list of Clean Language questions:

·         And what kind of X is that X?

·         And is there anything else about X?

·         And where (or whereabouts) is X?

·         And what would you like to have happen?

·         And that’s like what?

Looking forward to talking!

Best wishes
