Brand-new Clean articles
The latest edition of Resource magazine www.resourcemagazine.co.uk carried two articles about Clean. Judy Rees’s article, on the application of Clean Language in spirituality, is online here

Matthew Hudson and Philip Harland’s article, ‘Six Steps to Emergent Knowledge’, features a summary of the basic principles and processes which David Grove was developing in the months before he died. Both Matthew and Philip worked closely with David during that time, and they will be presenting a workshop on Emergent Knowledge at the Clean Conference in June.

Special prices for early birds
It pays to plan ahead! You can save money by booking before midnight on Monday, 31 March for:
- the Clean Conference, 21-22 June
- Clean Summer School, 16 - 29 August

Practice, practice, practice
Wherever you are in the world, if you’ve had at least two days training in Clean Language you can join others at the monthly Phone Practice Group. There’s no charge, just the cost of the conference call. The next ‘meeting’ takes place on Monday, 31 March at 7pm UK time, led by Wendy Sullivan. Email judy (mailto:judy@cleanchange.co.uk?subject=Practice%20group) to join the mailing list.

Cleaning tip: Don’t paraphrase, parrot-phrase!
Clean Language questions are structured around the questionee’s own words. For example, your might ask “What kind of X is that X?” or “Is there anything else about X?” where X represents a word or phrase the person has used.

By using exactly the person’s own words, you help them to notice precisely what they said and to get clearer about exactly what they meant. As Wendy Sullivan often says, this can make them ‘cleverer’ - they don’t have to waste any of their mental processing power translating your words back into theirs, and can focus their attention fully on the question you’ve asked.

What they’re saying
Delegates on Clean Change Company’s Modules 1, 2 and 3 this month ended the seven-day course passionate about Clean - and determined to put it to work in their lives. Nethi Demetriou, winner of a recent newsletter competition, plans to take it into schools to work with children, teachers and governors. Hypnotherapist and researcher Margaret Meyer described the course as life-changing: “fantastic for anyone engaged in the process of change - including the process of stuckness!”

Rapid Rapport, Speed Clean and the Five-Minute Coach
Wendy Sullivan, Judy Rees and Lynne Cooper will be demonstrating Clean applications at the NLP
Conference one-day event www.nlpconference.co.uk on 19 April. The event is already fully booked, but if you’re planning to be there please do say hello!

What they're saying about Clean

Excellent content, impeccably presented and managed. Flipcharts rule! Having experienced many speakers, I'd certainly put Wendy amongst the best.
