The Clean Conference is our annual showcase for the Clean Community’s many skills and talents, and takes place in central London, UK. This year’s conference – the seventh one we have held – looks to be a cracker!
Here’s what you can expect:
Friday 6 June 2015: Our customary interactive workshop for those who are experienced Clean-users. Led by James Lawley, one of the leading authorities in the field, this year’s topic is ‘Simply Working with Complexity’ More
Saturday and Sunday, 6 & 7 June 2015: The main conference, with two parallel streams of sessions. Sessions for those with little background in Clean approaches, as well as experienced facilitators are catered for. Presenters include both new and seasoned Clean Conference speakers, in approximately equal numbers, and include speakers from the UK and abroad. See here for details of Speakers and their sessions. And here for the quick guide to who is talking when.
On Sunday, our Key-note speaker Lucas Derks, author of ‘Social Panoramas’, will talk on the subject of ‘Working with the Self in Mental Space’. More
Monday 8 June 2015: Clean/Cleanish Research Day: To build upon our ‘Sandbox for Clean Research’ strand at the 2014 Clean Conference, we have a day on Clean Research. We will have shortish presentations from those engaged in Clean/Cleanish research and there will be the opportunity for the participants to actively ‘try out’ aspects of some of what is presented. E.g. James Lawley will talk about his work on evaluating the Clean-ness of an interview, and participants will be given the opportunity to put their learning into practice by doing some hands-on evaluating of the Cleanness of a transcript. Scroll to the end of this page to see details of the Research Day’s Speakers and their sessions.
Apply for our bursary place: attend 3 or 4 days for the price of one day (£79.99). Send an email to email@example.com by 1 June, with a paragraph about how you’ll use what you learn and a paragraph about how you’ll spread the word about Clean. Please include your mobile number.
Venue: Student Central (previously called ‘University of London Union’), Malet St, London, WC1E 7HY
