Applying Clean to business principles has transformed the way a London-based consultancy is developing and growing. Director of KD Partnership, Diana Gibbs, has been involved in using Clean for some years and says the most valuable thing she’s gained is a heightened awareness of how to pay close attention to language and linguistic metaphors. And that her work with clients has an elegance and depth she had never attained before.

Attending the recent Clean Business Exchange gave her lots of fresh food for thought.

Life can be a bit lonely in the consulting business according to Diana, whose career stretches from the BBC to mentoring and coaching blue-chip corporates. To remedy this she founded KD Partnership Ltd, moved into serviced accommodation in Clerkenwell and started building her own community of support.

The result has been the launch of the KDPXchange, a business support service which brings the advantages of big business resources to smaller colleagues’ firms. Built on Clean Principles, the Xchange is providing practical support in the form of office and meeting space, joint research, marketing and PR, mentoring and networking. Having piloted the Xchange with several colleagues and clients, Diana can see the emergence of a stronger more competitive consulting community, committed to helping each other on both commercial and personal levels.
