Latest news: 2008 dates

Hot off the presses... new dates for foundation-level Clean training with Wendy Sullivan in London. For the first time, we're offering Modules 1 to 3 in a convenient seven-day block - great for those who need to travel some distance. The dates will be 1 - 7 March 2008, with Module 4 following on 22 -23 April.

If you'd like to keep costs down, book all four modules now - ten days of training for only £1376 - because 2007 prices are being held until 31 October. For full details of savings and the dates of advanced-level modules, click here.

The impact of Clean

"Since the course (Clean Summer School 2007) I have delivered the most effective courses of my life, because I have concentrated on the audience, rather than my own performance.  And on a personal level, I cannot believe the changes I have made. I am an NLP master practitioner and coach and have spent huge amounts in time and money in working on my own feelings, visions and state, but nothing got near to the changes I have made with this course." Mike Priestley, trainer, coach and consultant, Cambridge

Clean Business Exchange

We're passionate about expanding the Clean Community - and we've noticed that the powerful growth of recent times has had its downside. Particularly for those working in organisations, as staff members or on a freelance/consultancy basis, it has become trickier to keep abreast of the newest opportunities for co-operation and collaboration, and the latest developments in the field. The Clean Business Exchange aims to plug that gap. It next meets on 16-17 November in London. If you use Clean in organisations and would like to join us or find out more, email judy.

Article: Alternate Ways of Knowing

New York-based Clean enthusiast John Davies, a witness to the twin towers tragedy of 9/11, says 'Symbolic Modelling saved my sanity.' Read the full article here.

Cleaning Tip: Getting a sequence

Whatever we are attending to at a given moment, there is always a 'before' and an 'after', and sometimes it can be useful to be reminded of this. For example, a participant on a Clean training told how every time she stopped at a petrol station, there was an empty packet of sweets on the floor of the car! Making explicit the sequence of events between arriving at the petrol station, and the empty sweet packet landing on the floor, helped her to notice where the choice-points were for her - and to decide to do things differently. To fill in the missing frames of a sequence, ask the Clean questions: "And what happens just before X?" and "What happens next?".

'Change wizard' Norman Vaughton

A treat for Clean enthusiasts: Norman Vaughton presenting in Leicestershire, UK in November. Penny Tompkins says: "Norman trains David Grove's inner child and very early work, and hearing him is like going back to the era of David's tapes and workbook series.  Norman may not have moved with Clean developments, but hearing him do the 'old stuff' is a real treat, and demonstrates the great, great value that early stuff has to offer.  He has loads of experience of using the process too, so has loads of examples that he delivers with the skill of an academy award winner.  He taught us a lot."

Mention the Clean Community newsletter when booking your place and you'll receive a complimentary copy of a new, studio-recorded CD, 'A Taste of Clean Language'. This CD is not yet on general sale, so you'll be one of the first to hear it. More details of the event
