Certified Clean Facilitators (Foundation level) have received at least ten days’ training (or equivalent) in Clean Language, Clean Space and Symbolic Modelling.

They have been assessed over two days, over a number of client sessions and other activities, and have demonstrated competence in the following areas:

• Facilitate verbally and nonverbally with Clean Language
• Identify and utilise a client’s nonverbal metaphors
• Facilitate clients to self-model a metaphor landscape
• Construct a model of a client’s description of their experience
• Facilitate clients using the Frameworks for Change
• Use the basic Clean Space process.

Where Facilitators are working in specialist fields – for example, psychotherapy – it is their own responsibility to ensure they have any other necessary qualifications for work. Potential clients should therefore make their own enquiries to ensure that such qualifications are in place, where this is relevant.
